The Lightbone Pendant Medium by Oblure is an award-winning Scandinavian pendant lamp made from solid oak and a sculptural opal glass globe. It provides both ambient accent lighting and functional downlight, delivering high visual comfort in kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms and hospitality spaces.
Designed by Fredrik Färg and Emma Blanche, Lightbone was first introduced at Milan Design Week 2017 and awarded Lighting of the Year 2023 by FORM Magazine. Inspired by Japan’s bamboo forests and timeless architectural arches, it embodies the essence of Scandinavian design – natural materials, minimalism and modern technology.
Handmade in Sweden and treated with linseed oil to enhance the oak’s grain, each lamp is unique. Available in Black Oak, Blue Oak, Natural Oak and customizable RAL or NCS colors, the Lightbone Pendant Medium is a modern oak pendant light that works beautifully as kitchen island lighting, a dining room pendant, or a statement ceiling lamp in hotels and restaurants.
